Caterham on the Hill Fire House
This is not the original Bourne Society Plaque placed in 1995
This was destroyed, along with the historic building in 1998, when the
developers demolished the old building, despite it being under a preservation order
They were made to rebuild the House
The Society is not going to replace it's blue plaque
It is felt that this would not be appropriate as modern materials were used in the
re-building
